In all my years, in all my adventures, and in all my literary wandering, this is by far the best book store I have come upon. Not only are the owners superb in their service, but stepping into this store is like stepping into a great novel; as it should be. One foot in the doorway and you enter a world that is crafted differently and much more fantastically from the one you left outside. The atmosphere, selection, prices, and service are unparalleled to other book shops.
I love how I can walk in and have no idea what book I want to get and when I walk out feel so excited about the book I bought and can't wait to read it. Love the customer service. This store is a gem
What a gem. First class. Very friendly and helpful. It's the kinda of place you want to go to at least once a week. I will be there next week for sure. More than just books.
The perfect little bookshop. Knowledgable staff (they read books!), quirky decor, wide range of books selected by the owners (more hits less misses :D ), spanning genres and age groups, games, puzzles and other gift items. Stop in here just once and you're sure to become a regular!
Foresters Book Garden is a wonderful place to buy books, games, puzzles and a myriad of other things for yourself or as gifts. Donna and Paul are welcoming, funny and very knowledgeable. If they don’t have a book you are looking for, they will find it and order it. I moved to Toronto and miss its comfortable atmosphere. Donna remembers my favourite authors and calls me to tell me when a new book is in. I drive to pick it up looking forward to stepping back into their magical world. Well worth the trip.
