Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital

I drive quite A LOT of kms and get stuck in A LOT of traffic for my dog to come here and not a single regret. My dog tore a knee ligament, recently had surgery for it and is currently on recovery mode.

The staff here are truly amazing professionals. From their front desk, to their vet techs, to doctors. (Shoutout Dr. John & Alie). We had a lot of questions. They were knowledgable, compassionate and so patient with us. They truly care about your pets well being. I like how they do checkup calls everyday. Bed side manner is amazing and I appreciate it SO much.

Great vet clinic- was so helpful pre and post TPLO for my dog that we decided to take him back for a teeth cleaning a few months later. Lots of attention to the ‘fear free’ side of the practice. Thanks!!

Dr. John is an amazing surgeon, he performed a Total Hip Replacement (THR) on our dog Cody 3 months ago. Cody is doing absolutely amazing since his surgery, he was using his leg the next day after surgery and has been ever since. Today was the 12 week mark, Cody was able to run and play in the snow and he wasn’t in any pain or discomfort, just tired from all of the fun. Cody is only 5 years old and was diagnosed with Bi-lateral Hip Dysplasia when he was 3 years old. We are planing on having a THR done on his other leg in the fall. Thank you Dr. John!!!

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital. Customers come from near and far to come to this place and I can see why. We came to Dr. John because our puppy Prince had stage 3 luxating patellas on both his back knees. We live in the heart of downtown Toronto and quotes we had received from other surgeons in city were ridiculously expensive. We ended up spending 60% less at Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital vs. what other vets were quoting us for. Friendly, welcoming staff, excellent service and very well priced. From our first consultation to the day of the surgery, Dr. John and his lovely staff made us feel comfortable and reassured every step of the way.

I have been going to Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years. Every dog I've brought to them received exceptional care. They are kind, patient and willing to take the time to explain and answer all my many make questions and concerns over the years. They've gone above and beyond to help me connect with Guelph Hospital when it was needed to get my doberman into a study which saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend them.
