Cheltenham Badlands

It's gorgeous as a place... Very scenic, but smaller than I thought. Also, it's been cordoned off by a fence, so all those pictures you see of people on those rocks are no longer possible.
That said, the hiking trails are beautiful.

DO NOT WALK OFF TRAIL! Preserving this gorgeous landmark should be a priority for all visitors. You can get great views on trail and on the boardwalk. I recently saw the badlands as one of Windows’ start screens which should say enough about how stunning they are to see in person.

Cool earth formations, but not nearly as cool in person as it looks in the pictures. The short little hike is pleasant, and the whole thing, about 3km walk can be done in less than an hour. Pleasant enough, but not anywhere near the hype. Seen it, and once was enough.

The rock formation is beautiful. But I think the size of the badlands and the boardwalk platform viewing doesn't worth the $25. The 1km walk is nice but not really needed, and the actual badlands platform would take 5min to see.

10/10 would recommend going to the badlands in Ontario. It is such a spectacular formation and it feels like you are on Mars. The parking lot is kind of small so you have to arrive early and there isn’t much hiking involved, more walking a boardwalk and through a nature trail to get to the viewpoint. You are not allowed to walk on the badlands because it’s destroying this beautiful formation so please respect the rules.
