10 stars! AMAZING! I have such a good experience with the dog training for my 100 pound king shepherd (Raja). My neighbor recommended us when they got a large breed dog. When I first went to Lone Wolf K9, my King Shepherd would pull me down the street and would never listen to me when there's distraction. Only 1 week after training with Guy and Tori, with great tools and techniques, my large dog no longer pulled and I can walk him in the snow and in the park with no issue. My dog is so obedient now and it's only been one month of training. I take my dog to the park daily and he listens to me now. They are so knowledgeable on all dog issues and provide the best advice on dog health and activity needs. Highly recommend to all dog owners. The hours are very flexible for dog parents who have busy schedules.
Guy and the Lone Wolf team are dog people. Calm, competent and committed, they are always available with a common sense answer to our training questions. The “membership” model suits our family extremely well with flexible timing instead of attending scheduled classes.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the outdoor facility can be pretty mucky on wet days.
Highly recommended.
Edited to update: field condition is improved and definitely less mucky. We have upgraded to 5 stars as we are very satisfied with the whole LWK9 team.
Great job Guy and team.
Love this training facility for my Luna! I had looked at many other training facilities when I first got my puppy and nothing seemed to beat what I found with Lone Wolf K9!
They were kind, professional, understanding and know what they are doing!
I originally signed up for 6 months, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to commit for a whole year. I knew within a handful of weeks, that this was the right place for both Luna & I! I feel much more confident in my ability to lead her and get the best out of her and our relationship over the coming year with the assistance of the trainers.
Would highly recommend! :)
I found Lone Wolf on Instagram and I am so happy I did! Guy responded to my inquires right away! I signed my puppy Hope up for their 1 year membership even though there outdoor facility is 30 minutes from my house. It’s well worth the drive!! I like how their training sessions are drop in only, no need for an appointment. The best part about their training is they use No Treats. It’s all about building a bond between the dog and the handler (you). The trainers don’t train the dog rather they train you the handler and then you train your dog and build a bond. When you show up for your training you just go out on the field and start practicing with you dog. There is always a trainer out on the field and they observe you with your dog and give you directions or suggestions to help you!! I can’t say enough good things about Lone Wolf! I am so glad I found them! And my pup loves going there too!!
I want to preface this by saying that we tried training offered by Pet Smart and Pet Value. Not worth it at all. They train with treats and it never worked for my dog. I was recommended to try Lone Wolf K-9 by a neighbour. She swore by it and seeing her dog over a certain period of time it was evident that it works. So I brought my dog Kai down to check it out, and he loved it. As a result, I have been bringing my dog for 3 months and the results are incredible. Guy and his team are dog whisperers. They have taught me and continue to teach me how to properly train my dog. They are knowledgeable, respectful, kind, and professional. The key to all this is placing your dog in a real world environment with other dogs and let me tell you it works. I recommend them to all dog owners.
