I met Ravi in 2011. He is the cousin of my childhood friend/real estate agent and my friend asked if I was willing to work with him. He had been employed with a reputable financial institution for a number of years but had decided to take a chance and work independently as an Agent. At the time, I was seeking to purchase my first home. I had already been looking for financing and since I worked (and continue to work) for a reputable financial institution myself. Ravi boasted that he could get me a better rate than the employee mortgage interest rate quoted to me through his process and he would be able to negotiate with my employer/preferred mortgage provider.
Though a bit skeptical, I decided to take Ravi’s offer, keeping in mind that he was a freshly minted independent mortgage Agent and that I would be his first client. Throughout the process Ravi kept me informed and put all of my concerns at ease. My first home purchase was not your regular “run of the mill” transactions and must have been a nightmare for him, but he stood by my side and ensured that I was able to successfully acquire mortgage funding for my home in spite of my personal struggles. Taking Ravi on as my agent has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life and his advice has assisted me in eliminating debt and improving my, my wife and children’s quality of life year over year. He’s not just my agent anymore. I consider him a friend and would strongly recommend him and his process to anyone new to the home buying/lending market or if you have some experience.
