Wolfman K9 Obedience

I've been training my husky-malamute miko for about 10 months at wolfman K9. Mike & Josh are top classs trainers. They teach without treats which is helpful in all situations.
My 90 lb miko no longer lunges at strangers.
He walks well on heel contrasting with many dogs in my hood that are constantly straining on the leash.
Josh is a truly dedicated trainer who pays close attention to what each dog is upto on the field.
Mike is a master trainer. Often times while im walking miko on their training facility, i will pick up valuable insights as i hear other humans getting instructions.
Im glad to see the addition of Darryl to the team as things get busy. Darryl brings his unique qualities of keen insights into the trainibg. Today he explained why miko might not be able to do a down on recall due to muscle movement.
Josh then observed my technique & shared how to enhance the down recall practice.

I highly recommend Wolfmans K9, especially if you have a working breed that thrives on having a purpose and clear direction.The goal is 100% reliable obedience, both on and off leash. If you are willing to put in the work, the result will be a loyal companion with freedoms that only few dogs can enjoy. We take our girl to dog friendly beaches off-leash, outdoor patios, stores, and can count on her to listen to us. We still have a long way to go but we are already enjoying the benefits and freedom that Mike and Josh's instruction has brought to us.

I have known Mike for years and have sent many people to him, without him knowing, in order for them to benefit from his professional ability to work with clients to understand the k9 behaviour. Every dog is unique and you must put the many hours into the training. I see Wolfman as a behaviorist, not a trainer. It is amazing to see how the dogs react to him as he walks the grounds! Dont let Mike's rough look sway you as he is a big teadybear with a huge heart of gold. If you need help with your loved k9, go see Mike! However, remember that he's working you, so you can work the dog! I give Mike a 4 star as in every business, there is always room for improvement. Keep up the good work Mike (Wolfman).

I have been training my female Rottweiler Bella for almost 10 months at Wolfman K9. She has made incredible progress. They have taught me to understand and build a relationship with my dog. I have learned to command her from across a field and I definitely dont bribe her with treats. That is pretty amazing ! The early socialization that Mike has provided helped to ensure I would have a dog that was not fearful or aggressive towards other dogs and their owners. Also the dedication and flexibility by this team of professionals to provide a schedule that can work for all, clearly indicates that the success of each client and their dog is the top priority. I walk with Bella all over town and many dogs run to the end of their leash barking and making fuss at her and she just calmly ignores and continues on. I couldn't be happier with my decision to train here. I would recommend this to anyone with any dog type.

I couldn't be happier with the progress of my pups! I have two German Shepherd brothers who are getting to be very big boys and with Josh's help at K9Obedience, they have learned more than I could possibly have taught them on my own. Josh believes that your dog can think for themselves with the proper instruction. He takes you step by step each week to learn something new to work on. It is about teaching us how to teach our dog. I know that my big boys will be able to travel anywhere and be near anyone with Josh's training and in two months they are already so well-behaved. I have been training my various dogs with Mike and Josh for over 25 years. I have had some rescues that were very problematic but with these fellas and their dedication, you will know that you can be successful with what ever dog you bring them. I highly recommend both Mike and Josh as their dedication is insurmountable.
