Billed as "attached to Toronto Airport" but it's a confusing outside tram ride and then a block outside walk. Once there, the rooms are small but clean, no frills. Bathroom too close to the rest of the room offering no privacy and no fan. No real restaurant, you can buy cold items and water only. Staff half friendly, half not friendly. Fire alarm forced our family of 6 outside walking down 7 flights only to find most people didn't leave and it was a false alarm. No apology from the staff for not advising we didn't need to leave.
We came here on a whim as we had a day trip in Toronto, we needed some here close to a train and the airport and book there was the Alt.
Our experience was amazing firstly with the front of house staff, Daniel. We had a late check in and he was super friendly, accommodating and great with suggestions.
Our room was very surprising, its compact but so huge, all the space is used. The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept on in a hotel.
One of the big features was the fact that they had a chrome cast, so simple but so needed. No other hotel I've stayed at has this, goes well with the free wifi.
Over all, highly recommend, will stay again.
I am updating my review after some time to rest and reset.
The hotel is very very nice, 5 starts fro sure. However, I dock 2 starts as we had a bad experience with one of the staff members who checked us in. First tried to pretend they didn't have two rooms and wed have to share as some sort of joke I think (I was traveling with my wife and my parents). Secondly after my dad tried to ask about the restaurants that are close by the staff member gave him a hard time and said "wow you really didn't do any research did you" or something snobby to that extend. Our stay was June 25 and we checked in around 9pm.
Thanks,
Nice hotel. I was there for a meeting a year ago and the hotel was quite adequate. Rooms were nice and very clean. The lobby was also very well done and stylish.
Located near Pearson international airport and with great access to downtown Toronto via UP Express from Terminal 1 was a short 5 minute (free) train ride.
The UP Express is under $15 for a 25 minute train ride to Union station, Downtown Toronto.
It Great hotel for early or late flights to Pearson airport. The rooms are clean, modern and quiet. The selection in the lobby of food and drinks was also great. The staff were young, friendly and professional. For the airport area hotels... I have to say, it is the best choice.
