My name is Paul Mead and I pastor Gospel Lighthouse Church in Hudson Falls, NY. Four months ago our church set out on a journey for new chairs. We searched and searched and researched and researched. We made tons of phone calls and listened to tons of sales pitches. We were quoted prices on chairs from $39.99 to $89.99 per chair. It’s a crazy world out there in regards to church chairs. Anyway, our chairs arrived today. They arrived on time. They were better looking than expected. They were better built than expected. They were better packed to ship than expected. Simply put... they’re amazing. So, what kind of chairs did you land on Pastor Paul? Well let’s get to it...
Were they ComforTek. NOPE... Don’t let them kid you. These chairs may be shipped from somewhere in the USA... HOWEVER, they are made in China and the manufacturing is terrible. On my Boos & Bravos... they get a Boo.
Were they Bertolini. NOPE... A good chair I suppose... If money’s no object. I thought it interesting that this was the highest price chair that we were quoted. That is until we pressed them. Suddenly the price came down. Way down. I don’t like that kind of tactic. We can do that chair for $80, no wait $75, no wait $70, no wait... well, you get the picture. On my Boos & Bravos... they get a Boo. Just tell me what the chair cost and let’s get on with it.
The list goes on and on so I’ll stop there.
The Chairs we chose were CHAIRTEX. They are the ONLY COMPANY using ONLY COMPONENTS from the USA & Canada. They are in the business of keeping North Americans working. Their product is SECOND to NONE. Their price points are fair. Their teamwork is impeccable. And, guess what... Wait for it... Wait for it... THEY’RE HONEST. Say whaaaaaat. I like people who say what they do, then do what they say. On my Boos & Bravos... they gat a GREAT BIG BRAVO.
Thanks CHAIRTEX... We think you’re great
Our church in Southern Illinois purchased 200 chairs from Chairtex in 2002. 18 years later our chairs are used 3 times per week and continue to hold their color and look great! We have been extremely happy with the durability and design of these chairs. The metal has not broken. The fabric has absorbed dirt and multiple cleanings and has not faded. Very satisfied!
Excellent quality product! Purchased sanctuary chairs 3 years ago - we tear down and set up weekly - lots of wear & tear. These chairs have been extremely reliable, sturdy, and durable. Nice that they're North American made too. And, great customer service. Highly recommend this vendor!
So worth it! We bought an older church building 12 years ago, and soon replaced the pews with Chairtex chairs in our sanctuary (great decision!). We also bought other cheaper chairs for our various classrooms (not the best decision!). We have since expanded our sanctuary twice, and each time come back to Chairtex for our chairs rather than cheap chairs. Why? 1) Quality - I don't know of a single Chairtex chair that has failed. But we have a bone-yard of cheap chairs. 2) Comfort - even my wife says she struggles to sit for any length in the cheap chairs, but people keep taking the Chairtex sanctuary chairs to their classroom to sit in them! 3) Color - we know that even years later, Chairtex will be able to match our existing color when we purchase additional chairs.
And throw in great customer service from Chantal and Deborah, and a company that uses 100% North American labor and materials, you have a winner! This may sound like a commercial, but it is not. It is just a satisfied customer. And when I find something of true worth (like the Gospel of Jesus Christ), I am excited to tell others about it!
