Dixie Bloor Employment Program

This review is 8 months late - I got a full-time job using their service in August of 2019 and have yet to post this. I want to extend my utmost gratitude and highly recommend using their service, in particular, a mentor there J - she listened to my story, got to know me personally, and before providing advice helped me discover what I was looking for in a career. What was surprising was she was not providing blanket advice, she really listened to me and helped me articulate my goals and strengths. Prior to visiting this location, I thought I did not need the help, I have a double major degree from a renown university and also had completed a certificate program from another renown university - however, I could not land an interview. What happened was the mentor explained the flaws in the approach I was previously using, she helped tailor my resume for the job/field I wanted. I got an interview, she practiced interview questions with me and advised me on key etiquettes needed for success in all jobs. If you are looking for help, feel like you aren't getting noticed by the hundreds of applications you send out - like I was, please visit this location. Very grateful for the service I got here.

Good place overall, you have to book an appointment before. They offer free services and English LINC classes till level 8. No French classes here. Early on is located at Burnhamthorpe library not this location

Good program that covers job search strategies. The course is a bit compressed though due to shortage of time
