East Mississauga Midwives

Having a baby in the midst of a pandemic can take a toll on you mentally and support is everything in any pregnancy. I would not only use midwife services again in the future 100% but also recommend it as a first source to primary care for any female on their own personal journey. My midwifes Daina and Anna were absolutely amazing as a team and helped me remain grounded in the midst of many personal obstacles throughout my pregnancy their care during my months and after giving birth is something I will forever be grateful for. Forever!

My home-birth experience with the help of East Mississauga Midwives was one of the most magical and empowering life changing ones! So grateful to deal with such amazing people: professional, patient, compassionate, and clean. One hour after my delivery you wouldn't be able to tell that a birth took place in the room! Very responsive and helpful team; not to forget mentioning that the after birth home visits to check on mother and baby were very convenient. Lisa, Ashley, Lydia, and the nice receptionist always did their best to accomodate my ongoing checks and visits based on my work schedule even if it meant to stay after working hours. I couldn't be happier, and if I had to do it again, I wouldn't do anything different. Thank you so much Lisa, Ashley, Ann, and Monique for your support during my labour. I liked every single part of this experience and regret I didn't have it with my first two babies.

By far the best experience personally. Didn’t have a midwife with my son but had one with my daughter and it’s the best thing ever. My midwife was Barb and she is the best. She is very good at what she does, she always answered any questions or concerns and she supported me through labour and tried to make me feel comfortable. She also came to my house to check on me and my baby. If I had to do it again I wouldn’t have it any other way. Also not having to be in and out of hospitals and obgyn’s offices during the pandemic is a plus. Would definitely recommend East Mississauga Midwives. Thank you Barb.

I made the best decision in choosing and trusting my family in the care of East Mississauga Midwives. My midwives were Anna M, Amy and their student Monique. They were such a phenomenal team that they left an everlasting mark on my family. I gave birth in October 2020 and I always reminisce about the birth and care they provided, especially during a pandemic. I also got to meet a couple other midwives as well and nobody fell short in providing the care that I needed. I wish I didn’t move out of the area because I would return for baby #3 in the future. Thanks again for doing all that you guys do.

Cannot say enough good things!! I am so grateful to Anna M., Amy and Student Monique. They took such good care of me while I was in their care and when my pregnancy turned high-risk and I had to be transferred to an OB, they still stayed with me. Then during delivery, a last minute decision had been made after midnight to do a C-section and although I called my midwife and left a voicemail, I didn't think there was any way possible that she would make it in time but to my surprise she managed to make it to my delivery 20 minutes later. These ladies do not get nearly enough credit for all they do!!! The care they offer is so personal and they even did home visits!! I would encourage everyone considering a midwife to do it!! My partner was hesitant at first but now even he sings their praises!
