I work at a busy Toronto area hospital. A few weeks ago, on a Friday afternoon, I accidentally threw a small wallet containing my health card, my driver's license, and some other documents into the hospital laundry in my scrub suit. By the time I discovered my error, the laundry for the day had been sent to the Ecotex laundry facility in Mississauga. I emailed Ecotex to ask whether it was possible for them to find my lost cards. I received a prompt reply from the President of the company, telling me that a member of his administrative staff would be assigned to supervise the search, and that his staff would do their best. I received regular email bulletins every couple of days. I was told the search might take up to 10 days. Amazingly, on the 11th day, I received the email – "good news!". Both my health card and my driver's license were found, and have been returned to me. Considering my carelessness caused the problem, and also the fact that these people have a very important job to do, I am extremely impressed by the excellent communication and the diligent work of the staff, following through, with a happy ending to my story. Never worked here but I’m sure you treat your staff better then HLS does!
Amazing customer service! My cell phone accidentally got shipped to their warehouse in hospital linens. I sent an email and Ecotex went above and beyond to find my phone and even returned it to Guelph the following day for us. We are so thankful!
After some *bright* nurse threw my husband's phone in with the dirty linens, and the hospital *couldn't find it* all the next day, i tracked the locator dot until it stopped at ecotex. sent them an email, and lo and behold, they found and returned it! Very much appreciate their effort :)
I started working with Ecotex in 2018 and have been consistently happy with the services they provide. For such a large scale linen operation they do a great job providing a personalized customer experience.
Working at a large East Toronto community Hospital, most days we receive 42+ carts of linen such as bed linens, uniforms, patient gowns, OR greens; we very infrequently see errors however when we do they are rectified almost immediately.
We have appreciated their support during the recent pandemic, they have been flexible and working very hard to meet the increasing PPE demands.
