Dr Andrew Budning is an outstanding physician, a brilliant ophthalmologist, and an inspiring human being. His entire staff are to be commended on the difference they make daily. Dr Budning operated on me when I was diagnosed with cataracts at age 12. I was then subsequently diagnosed with a whole slew of other ocular conditions, including retinal detachments, corneal edema, and glaucoma. Given the complexity of my childhood situation, I would have been blind a long time ago were it not for his care. He remains to be one of my childhood heroes, and I am still thankful and in awe of the work he does to this day. New patients who are not familiar with the road and struggles one has to go through in terms of tackling ocular conditions and blindness shouldn't be so quick to judge long wait times. Parents of children who are struggling with blindness should be grateful that they have such an outstanding doctor who are willing to see them. It is a testament to Dr Budning's talent and demand that his office is crammed and full to the brim on a constant basis. Personally, I would be more concerned if his office was empty and there were no wait times, as that doctor would probably not be one I want operating on my condition. Bravo to Dr Budning and his entire team, and my most heartfelt thanks for changing my life.
Been attending for about 2 years. Was referred from Sick Kids. Sometimes the wait can be really long. The office lets to know to be prepared for the long wait. It's good to have activities for the kids to do. The waiting room is small so I try not to bring big strollers or other family members as you may have to wait in the hall. The last time I was in the office, it looked like some dusting was overdue.
