(June 1, 2013, 8:18 pm)Very friendly staff! The food doesn't taste cheap nor was it loaded with oil. It feels like pretty genuine Thai food (I'm not thai though). We went as a very large group and the waiters constantly filled our waters and checked up on us. Would recommend for the experience!
(January 30, 2012, 2:47 am)The place is nicely decorated and spacious, save for the rear portion that got "occupied" by laptops and newspapers--not professional. I had the Pad Thai and it was quite decent. I wouldn't rave over the taste, and the portion was too small (I met a friend at Burger King soon after and easily ate a whole combo there), but it wasn't bad like so many places' Pad Thai's. So I wouldn't recommend against it, either.
I do have a problem with their "new" Chrysanthemum Tea. It was tasty, in a very sweet way, but it was obviously the powdered, sugar-loaded stuff you buy for cheap at Chinese supermarkets. No real chrysanthemum flowers (which are inexpensive and easy to store) here. That might have been okay if they hadn't advertised the flower's medicinal properties, but they did. As it stands, I just felt cheated.
The service was fine. The restaurant was only occupied with 5 tables out of around 20 and I got speedy service. But I had planned on enjoying my time there and I got the feeling the girl wanted to finish me in a hurry so she could free up the table. Whatever for, my dear? Would I come here if I just wanted to eat fast? That kind of spoiled the experience.
I would not object to going there again. I might even suggest the place. But I don't see myself going out of my way to eat there, either.
