(January 20, 2019, 6:36 pm)Never fully stocked. Always missing something. Rarely ever have both red and green peppers. Fruits and veggies often rotting or scraped up. Sale meat and/or sale items go SO fast and rarely restocked. Staff are all friendly and cashiers are quick.
(December 23, 2018, 2:51 am)Simply very basic; friendly staff, reasonable prices and good variety of vegetables fruits and seafood. Intercontinental section is too scanty, needs some more variety of Indian spices and food to fulfill needs of diverse population in the area.
(August 14, 2018, 4:46 pm)Personally....I love this food basics. It is close to home and the prices can't be beat. It may not be the most fancy grocery store around but the staff is super friendly they usually have all specials in Stock. If they don't, they are always willing to issue a rain check. I used to shop at Metro but they have gone totally downhill and the prices have gone uphill. Even if Food Basics is owned by Metro, there is still a world of difference. Food Basics is my choice.
