Grinyer Interior Doors & Closets

We live in a condo and had all our interior doors replaced, including closets. Working within COVID restrictions, It took a few months from a visit to the showroom to installation and completion; however, the new look is fresh and contemporary, in keeping with our design style.
Everyone on the Grinyer team was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer our questions and provide more information. The installation process was smooth and professional, and when a small hinge adjustment was needed, it was done willingly.

After doing the usual and long process of contacting local big box stores and waiting for someone to call and give us an estimate on our doors and closets, we decided to look elsewhere. We saw an ad for Grinyer and decided to contact them. We set up a meeting to go to their location and discuss our job and look at the beautiful selection of doors and hardware. They were extremely friendly, offered multiple options (which we were looking for) and helped us to make a very sound decision to proceed. We were having 7 interior doors replaced and 5 closet doors. However the closets were floor to ceiling so they were custom size. Once we decided what we wanted they set a date to have a person come out and custom measure each and every door. From there we were contacted when the doors were ready to be installed. The beauty of it all is that each door will fit exact because of the pre measuring so there is no shimming AND the best part is they are painted (not primed) literally painted so once the door is installed with the new hardware I don't have to do anything. The closet doors were all customer floor to ceiling sliding style. We were not sure what style to select and Grinyer helped us make, what ended up being, a fantastic choice. Every door looks and functions perfectly. We are extremely please and HIGHLY recommend Grinyer Interior Doors & Closets.

Expert advice and service. It started with a private appointment in their showroom, where we felt safe in these COVID times. We had personal attention, and they helped us find the perfect set of closets. Delivery was when they said it would be; the installers were on time; they were professional and friendly and most importantly, did a great job. Everything was perfect!

I do love my doors but the lengthy process was frustrating. From initial inquiry to installation it was 3 months. Two weeks wait for the 15 minute measure, two weeks for showroom appointment, 10 days for second measure and then 2 months to wait for order. They seem to only come out on Thursday’s. If you can’t be home then you are waiting again. I’m not going to say this is Covid. I think it is a staffing issue.

Sales person was great and helped us make a good choice. Selection was great. Person that came to my house for final measurement was very knowledgeable and personable. But when I was called to settle my bill I was never even asked if I liked my doors!

My only critique on my mirrored sliders is there is nowhere to grab on the inner door to make it slide. It needs a handle. I have to reach around the other door and grab it from the back.

In the end, I have my doors and they look good. That may be enough for you.
