UPDATE AGAIN!- Now 4 Stars:
As of May 17, the team at ICP is now looking at all my previous work and expenses and looking to help me out. No word yet, but I can tell you that my first impressions have been completely erased, so far.
A previous revision from March/April:
The management from ICP did respond and they coordinated techs from the distributor and my HVAC service company. They spent some time evaluating the issues with our system and came up with a plan to correct it.
The jury is still out until it's done, but I must say, the response since gaining contact has been great and ICP has committed to make it right and help me with previous financial outlay.
ORIGINAL REVIEW - 1 Star:
If we could leave a review of less than one star, we would.
Our system was installed, brand new in 2012. We moved into the house in late 2014.
We have tried just about everything possible over the last 7 years. We have brought in 4 different HVAC companies; each having to visit multiple times. We replaced a faulty AC coil out of pocket even though it was only 3years old. Replaced a faulty blower motor at 4yrs old and then the whole furnace just a while later. Also at 4yrs old.
We had only 8mos problem free with the new system then back at it again. We replaced the motor AGAIN. replaced the computer board. All on a new system, now from 2016.
We have had our HVAC guy in our home more than family and friends over the past 16mos.
Since early 2015 we have spent over $5,000 on replacing parts with no warranty support from ICP, and the mind blowing number of service calls from the various techs.
We are so invested now, but still can’t keep our system working for more than 30 days at a time. For all these years.
Now we have to consider spending over $10,000 to replace the entire system with another manufacturer because this is causing us so much stress and heartache.
We’ve been extremely patient. Ask our techs. But this is just enough already. We’ve done everything that everyone has told us to do. We’ve cleaned every duct, changed filters and filter types, done every possible thing you can imagine that even all the techs are scratching their heads. And again, no support from ICP.
I have now left voicemails with 2 senior executives in the Canadian ICP office. I'm hopeful that someone will be able to return my call and offer some guidance and assistance.
