Kitchen Crafters did our kitchen reno in June 2019. I waited a year to write the review to see how things would wear, and so far so good! Here are the pros and cons of our experience working with Kitchen Crafters:

Pros - We got a totally custom kitchen for a good price. Every aspect is customizeable: measurements; placements of cabinets and drawers; door fronts; door colours; accents etc. They were able to organize all aspects of the reno - dropped ceiling; electrical; plumbing; floors, etc.
Everyone we worked with was pleasant to deal with and if there were any errors, they were very agreeable about fixing them.

Cons - We felt that the overall experience was not as organized as it could be. We were told that the install would take a week, max, and put aside 3 weeks in May to accommodate the reno. Unfortunately when we contacted Peter at the end of April to check that everything was on course and to see the final specs of our kitchen design, there was nothing to see. This was despite the fact that I had provided very detailed drawings with everything measured out. So it was obvious that the install wouldn't happen in time and there ended up being a conflict at the end of May with the Kitec replacement meaning that our kitchen was delayed by a month.

When it came to the manufacture and install, several of our measurements and special requests didn't get communicated from the intake. For example upper cabinets were made too deep and the island measurements were slightly off etc. They guys were great about fixing everything, but this lead to further delay and frustration and required us to be really on top of things.

Overall - a year later, we're very happy with our kitchen. The paint and hardware so far has lasted. We were able to get designer-looking doors at a fraction of the cost. Dean made us a really cool backing to our kitchen island which gets a lot of compliments and is totally unique. Overall, what we were able to imagine is very close to what we ended up with. I think the communication issues could be easily dealt with by having a standard form that records all of the client's requests and measurements which then gets passed on from intake to design to manufacture and install. This simple step would have reduced a lot of headaches and delay. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dean and his guys and work with them again. I would just make sure that everything was communicated directly to Dean rather than relying on Peter to be the middle-man. It seemed that this is where a lot of our communication broke down. But I think it says a lot about a company when they are so immediately willing to fix any mistakes, which is why I would feel secure using them again and recommending them.

My wife & I just had our main floor fully renovated. It was very stressful to try and find a Kitchen Company as you always feel worried about who you hire and if they are going to do a good job. We found this company at the Home show and met with Dean. He was very professional and out of all the Kitchen Companies we met, Dean had the most knowledge and made us feel very comfortable and we decided to go ahead and hire him.
We were absolutely amazed with the outcome. Better then we ever dreamed. We sent pictures of different parts of custom hoods we liked from Google. Also wanted an area to store our Wine glasses that was separate from Kitchen. The company did an unreal job and we can't get enough compliments for the kitchen. Installation team was very Professional. Mike did a great job. My wife and I highly recommend Kitchen Crafters. Thanks again Dean for making our home a dream.

I had hired this company to work on cabinets in our home. Let's say that I am extremely pleased with their work ethic and quality. They provided great communication and customer service and of course the final product was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!
