Maja Prentice Theatre

Great theatre venue located in Eastern Mississauga. This is a rental venue, they don't have their own programming but instead local theatre companies rent the theatre to put on shows. The auditorium can seat 200 people and the view from all the seats is great.

During March Break a puppet festival called Bridges Festival presents really amazing puppet shows at the venue. We saw a show featuring super inventive puppeteers creating a story with objects. Amazing!

In the last day of February the 29 th , I went there with friend and we enjoyed Maqamat concert

It's a good, compact space for small shows and performances. Loved performing at the stage. You feel more connected to the audience because you're closer to everyone physically as well. The staff was nice too!

A very nice mid-sized theatre. As an audience member, the seats are fairly comfortable, there is no bad seat in the house; clear sight lines from everywhere, the front of house staff are friendly and helpful, the seats are fairly comfortable, and it is very clean and has been well maintained. From the perspective of a performer, the backstage area is roomy with well-lit makeup areas, there are comfortable rooms in which to change, and there is ample storage space for wardrobe and props. My only issue whatsoever with this theatre is that there are only four wheelchair "seats" in the house. For a theatre with a capacity of about 200 I would expect for there to be more. Otherwise a really great space in which a multitude of community groups perform.
