Garderie Le Cercle de l’Amitié

I'm not sure why the previous reviewer gave this daycare such a scathing review? The food was decent (things like chicken and salad), so perhaps his child just didn't like the food selection? I'm also not sure why he said the employees were racist; I've never seen them be anything but friendly and courteous to parents and children of all races.

Here's my review...

The Up-Side: My child is in the older group and I felt that the daycare provider s/he was assigned to actually cared about her job and was great with the children. They took the children outside regularly, kept them inside when it was too hot, went on good outings for summer camp and had planned activities for them throughout the day. I never felt my child was unsafe here. They were also very patient and helpful when s/he was having a bad day and helped work that out. My child was happy here.

The Down-Side: I feel this daycare could improve on communication regarding events and closures especially (and I hope they've fixed their email!). This is where they lost a star on my review, because it caused me too much unnecessary frustration.

The Verdict: I would place my child in their care again; because overall, my child's safety and happiness trumps the frustration caused by communication issues; and my child was happier at this daycare than at other daycares and camps s/he's attended.
