GEARS Bike Shop

I was happy with the service I received overall. Bought my first road bike from them a month ago and today, I had my tires swapped for new ones. There were quite a couple hiccups with my bike just in the first month. However, these have been solved. Ira was kind and arranged the warranty repairs for me over email. The only reason as to why I deducted a star is because of the hassle I had to go through this month. However, this will definitely change based on future visits and experiences.

Today I experienced true customer service. I walked into Gears and was promptly greeted by Bob. He listened to all of my needs and wants, and provided a solution for same. The whole crew at the shop were very engaging. Great job team.

The team at Gears out did themselves this past weekend during the RTCC 2019. On Saturday after the store was closed, I had a technical issue with my bike. I emailed the staff and to my surprise they responded. We worked out the details and to a greater surprise they took the time to travel from Port Credit to Hamilton to deliver what I needed.
That is over and above the call of duty!

My husband recently purchased a Liv Avail for me from Gears. Wow!!! The bike was perfect! Their master fitter, Scott, is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to bike fitting. Just when I thought my bike fit me, he not only proved me wrong, but took the time to explain the minor adjustments he was making and their impact on my performance. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Like anything, you definitely get what you pay for, and Gears is no exception.
