Port Credit Pizza E Dolci

The great:

1) Owners are the friendliest people you will ever meet.

2) The way owners treat each other should be relationship goals for everyone!

3) The whole store is super squeaky clean and shiny and just perfect in general.

The good:

1) They use fresh ingredients!

2) They sell more than just pizza.

The ok:

1) Price is justified. Given their location and fact that they use fresh ingredients I can somewhat justify the price.

The bad:

1) They forgot to put basil on my pizza.

2) Pizza is greasy and is a very very far shot from Italian. It's a typical greasy Canadian pizza.

Advice to owners:

You guys are the best couple and people I have met in Port credit neighborhood. I really believe that you do enrich the neighborhood by just being here. However your style of pizza making is a far shot from what the previous owner was making. I can see a lot of potential. You guys do put a lot of love and care into making your pizza and the fresh ingredients are also proof of that, not to mention that it shows that you guys care a lot about your business. However I would advise you guys to take a few classes to learn how to make Italian pizza so that the store name matches. If you guys named your store Canadian pizza or something akin to that then I would give 5 stars. But unfortunately the amount of grease and salt present in your pizza makes it a far cry from authentic Italian pizza. Especially compared to the previous owner who would make the best damn Italian pizza ever (well he was born and raised and studied in Italy so it makes sense).

Highly recommend. It was on such short notice (under 48 hours prior to my event) that I placed my request on a fairly large order and Pizza E Dolci delivered!

They did an amazing job providing a delicious variety of dinner choices and all of my guests fell in love with their pastas, lasagna and cannolis. Quality and flavour was simply excellent.

Barb and Carm, baker and chef are a lovely couple and each interaction with them was such a pleasure. Thank you so much once again for making that night possible and for the incredible service that you guys provide. All the best and see you soon!!!

We tried it out last weekend as another local food spot. Pizza was absolutely delicious. Unlike chain restaurant pizza this is made from scratch and you can absolutely tell the difference. Heading back for pasta tonight.
The owners were very friendly and engaging as well which makes such a difference.

Their cannoli are great! They fill them when you order so they aren't soggy. Their pizza is good, crust has a perfect chew to it. Everything is fresh. The folks here are friendly and the place inside has a comfy charm to it.

Just a couple of things they can hopefully improve: I think they need to increase their oven temp or bake for longer, because the pizza had quite a bit of moisture on top, probably from the sauce or the cheese they use. Also they should indicate that their olives on the pizza contain pits, almost chomped too hard on one; this is risky in a pizza.

Other than these minor things, this is a solid pizza place with great desserts.
