Great bubble tea place run by the friendliest owner! I bought two bubble tea drinks - large, fully loaded with whipped cream, jellies, and tapioca for $8.88 for my kids, who loved them. One was mango flavour and the other was mango lychee. Place was very clean and the owner was really kind. Support small business!
I've been coming to this place for years, since high school.. I am now 35! Good bubble tea to compliment the diverse range of food selection in the food court, don't cheap out and buy the slushie bubble tea with icecream from the food places for $2.50 unless u like cheap sugar water diluted with icecream.
Call me surprised that a decent and affordable bubble tea place is hidden in this old Asian centre. I was looking for a good place nearby and it seemed a lot of terrible options (which ... there clearly is) are in this east Mississauga. This centre is showing it's age and with its fairly small food court, you can get a lot of food for really really low prices. Facing the food court is a small middle row with 3 snack stalls that all sell random Asian candies and bubble teas. Skip the first two (even though they have better deals) and pick the last one in the row that is closest to Dixie Rd.
Unlike the typical Taiwanese popular stores coming over, these ones arent flashy with cream cheese toppings, pudding add ins, customization, or new inventive flavours. It's your typical milk tea, fruit tea, and slushy options BUT unlike the old bubble tea style of the old (aka. powder sugar bombs that tasted fake), this one has authentic tea flavour, subtle fruit flavourings, and actually not a lot of sugar. It was a good drink. The other good part, it was only $5 per drink including taxes for a very large size.
Litchi Green Tea with pearls - Solid green tea with a light litchi flavour. It was more typical of a nice refreshing iced green tea than a sugary boba tea. It was a large size and I could easily drink it all without feeling like I was overloading on sugar. The boba was tender without being too clingy overcooked. I would have probably added a bit more boba though for the size. 4/5
Black milk tea with pearls - A decent black tea flavour. I would say that this is probably at 50 or 75% sugar levels of new places. I think it could have been more tea like as this was possibly more creamier than good places like Coco. Like the litchi, I would probably have added more boba for the large size. 3.5/5
So if you're looking for a decent boba tea without all the flash and customization, this would be a nice affordable option.
