My whole family signed up for guitar lessons when they first opened in the downtown last year. Everyone is incredibly friendly, all the instructors first rate, and they honestly care about the quality of instruction they provide. I've seen my daughter gain in confidence as she's progressed in skill levels and she's even started performing in concerts on stage - something she was terrified to do before. The Rock School has helped her get there, and I would highly recommend anyone at ANY skill level to check them out. Their rates are good, they tailor their programs to the student's skill level, and they care enough to believe and help their students reach their goals. Thank you Rock School!

My daughter was 8 when she first started her piano lessons at the Rock School. One year of serious music lessons was all it took when I noticed how much her information processing have improved! This past year, she not only breezed through her regular school work, she also completed her RCM exam with great marks (First Class Honours)! Thank you Rock School! Your commitment to the arts, to music and to each students' success is very much appreciated by parents like me. Thank you for making your school a fun place to learn and for your community involvement. Keep up the good work!

I have two children who attend The Rock School. I must say I have been extremely pleased with our experiences. My older daughter has attended for vocal lessons for about 5 years, and my younger daughter has been taking guitar for approximately four. The youngest started guitar when she was four years old, her teachers have been nothing but kind, caring and seem honestly devoted to helping young students learn and progress.
She is extremely shy and the staff have encouraged but never “pushed or forced” her to perform in front of others. They understand her need to play for her own satisfaction.
My older daughter had tried other music schools, but we found them to be too formulaic, and not at all personalized. We found the staff and the programs offered at The Rock School to be a perfect fit. She has been involved many of programs offered, from lessons, to workshops, to camps. The school also encourages all students to sign up for the various community events they are involved in and the twice yearly “recitals” for which they can perform any or all of the instruments in which they enrolled. The instructors are kind, patient, accommodating, motivating & professional while remaining upbeat, positive & fun. All of the staff, the instructors, and the owners are honestly committed to music, inspiring musical creativity, education, & expression. I applaud the Rock School for its commitment to their students, families, and the community.

My son received a gift certificate for a "trial package" from his aunt & uncle for Christmas 2011- he had no previous exposure to music lessons, but wanted to try acoustic guitar. He tried and did not like. He wanted to try drums instead…and LOVED IT!

He just turned 9 and did his first public performance at the school’s spring concert in May. The kids volunteer to perform, and the school co-owner, Andrea, had been encouraging him to sign up for one of their concerts for a while now. He picked the song all on his own and practised for weeks. We were all excited when he decided to do this, but I was very nervous for him. His teacher (Mark) told me he was ready.

His success at the concert has built up his confidence immensely not only in music, but also in the sports he participates in. Music is something he loves, and does for himself alone, and it has taught him that with determination and practice, he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

The owners Toni and Andrea have built a great school with friendly, talented teachers. They encourage the kids to try new things, and have them perform in many public venues in Brampton to build their confidence. The Rock School is a great place to learn and develop musical talent and as a bonus, boost confidence. The Rock School is a top notch facility.

My son wanted to take guitar lessons and my daughter piano lessons. We have tried several music schools and one music store in Brampton many years ago. We found there was a lack of care to oversee programs, teachers changed way too frequently and my kids just lost interest and were not inspired. We were hesitant at first to try another music school but we heard through some good friends that The Rock School had teachers and staff that knew what they were doing. I have had my kids enrolled at The Rock School for over 3 years now, my kids love going to their lessons. If really feels like a musical community, the teachers are qualified and inspiring, the staff is friendly and easy to approach. We feel like we are always taken care of. In addition to lessons, The Rock School always has new programs to challenge and inspire the students. If you are looking for quality music lessons, The Rock School is the place to go. This school is the real deal - I would recommend this school to anyone - This is the place to learn music in Brampton!
