Sadly, the food has declined in quality, in particular, the fish and chips which has always been why we have gone to The Valley. The Caesar was decent and the deep-fried pickles, were better than some.
My biggest complaint has always been that their beer selection is really mediocre and they don't serve Tennent's. Our server was friendly and the service was good.

The PORTUGUESE owner, not that polish lady that claims to be the owner whenever you ask, he has a small Portuguese food place just behind the bar and it’s as good as my vavo's home cooking! Potato’s and rice were amazing and he gave my nephew a popsicle! Would definitely return. They should do something about that polish server, she has no respect for customers and makes the business look bad.

I liked this hotel and the staff. It's a very pleasant experience
