Extremely knowledgeable in the area of family law. And, she is fantastic to work with. She really listened and was able to provide great advice that led us in the right direct. Highly recommend.
No complaints, did a good job for me
Fantastic lawyer. My husband and his lawyer are bullies, but Ms. O'Neill was able to work her magic and get me my life back. Anyone going through a separation should use her.
Thank you to Ms. Melanie for helping my family. For anyone going through a hard time with their separation I would recommend her. She helped me and my children and I am grateful.
She did a great job for me in 2018. She tells it like it is, and doesn't waste time or money. I got what I wanted in my divorce.
I mean, who gives a positive review to a divorce lawyer? Answer: me.
My spouse and I agreed, after a tough, stressful go of it, to go separate ways. I engaged a series of lawyers. Each one, in turn, gave me heartburn and did things to make my situation worse and escalate tension, and only serve to make my pockets lighter and my heart heavier. It was like they cared more about escalating an unnecessary war between my ex and I than actually giving me good advice and helping me get closure.
Enter Melanie. Efficient, authentic, clear, smart and prophetic - she helped me understand my position, clarify the potential pitfalls and rights, advise me on direction and pull together a clear, reasonable and mutually agreeable contract quickly and efficiently. To this day, my ex and I have not had a single contractual issue - in fact, we border on friends. We have clear and understandable boundaries (thanks to Melanie), and a clear understanding of our rights and obligations.
I've repeatedly broken the classic rule of: "never recommend a lawyer to your friend" a few times now. When a friend mentions that their experience with their current divorce lawyer is terrible - and I introduce Melanie as the better, more reasonable option.
