  David Catalano is an excellent electrician and completed a job on my outdoor lights that had its challenges. He is very professional and thorough. I will definitely hire David again should I require an electrician in the future. I recommend him with 5 ⭐️ s.

  Had David install a Ring Video Doorbell Pro and Ring Floodlight back in late January. He added a new outlet and a constant power source for the Floodlight as it was tied to the regular outdoor switch light.
  
  He is diligent, great communication skills and pleasant to be around. Couldn't be happier with his work. Looking forward to the next time I need more electrical work done.

  My wife and I have used David's services more than once for various electrical jobs around our house. He is professional, courteous, patient, and very kind. His work is clean and concise. We have more that we want to do in our home and undoubtedly will call him again. If you are looking for excellent quality work from a great person, I highly recommend him.

  So, we asked for a quote to install a lighting fixture, fix some outlets, and install new outlets in our basement. We received a few quotes, including MDC Electric. Our first impression of MDC was that they had a passion for proper workmanship (doing the job right without cutting corners) and were conscientious of our budget and being as non-invasive as possible. The other companies from the Newmarket area were not only much more expensive, they also were not as personable nor cared about damaging our ceiling (one company actually put that in the quote - not responsible for ceiling damage). MDC took the time to create a better solution and explained the installation processes, as it was not a simple installation of the lighting fixture or outlets. The other companies came in for 5 minutes tops, did not use any creativity, and were very indifferent to our budget and other needs. With MDC Electric, they went the extra mile not only just to ensure that everything was done to code, but took great pride of workmanship. They are meticulous and thorough in small jobs to big jobs. With MDC Electric you feel a real personal touch and they are friendly and personable to boot! I highly recommend MDC Electric and will use them when we plan to finish our basement.
