It doesn't get better than this - 10 stars, if only I could... The transport home of a family member from Southlake RHC was seamless - the attendants negotiated a snowstorm as well as our untidy front steps, and our loved one was safe in his own bed before we knew it, and not in the least perturbed by the experience. The attendants were kind and reassuring every step of the way. But there's more: Southlake staff had inadvertently packed another patient's belongings along with our own patient's - we alerted York Simcoe Transfer Service as well as Soutlake's discharge unit, and YS Transfer Service took it upon themselves to collect the other patient's belongings so as to redirect them appropriately. That was truly "above and beyond". And days prior, the discharge planner at Southlake had begun by saying she had three companies to recommend, then took that back to say "On 2nd thought, just call York Service TS - you can't do better I'm sure". She was right!

I had my first ride last night in their wheelchair accessible van. I was sceptical and apprehensive about the ride. It seemed too good to be true! My feeling were totally unjustified!! The team put me at ease from the very start! Their passionate, compassionate, punctual, thoroughly skilled, professional service shines through!! I highly recommend them to everyone, service the way it should be done! I felt very safe and secure in their hands and in the harnessing of the wheelchair while being transported. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!!
