Awesome people, excellent instructors and wonderful horses !

In May of this year I brought my 7 year old daughter to Glendon, Clare, Nancy and Lauren took us in with open arms and made us feel welcome.

The facility they run is extremely clean, safe and well organized. The prices for lessons is actually less than what I was paying at the previous barn we went to.

p. s its a Barn with horses not sure you can find one without flies, and if someone does please let me know !

Great lessons and great facility!
I first started riding at Glendon Stables at the age of 16. When I first met Nancy Collins, I had been riding at a different barn but had been doing some work at Glendon as part of a co-op program through high school. I always enjoyed watching Nancy teach and admired the way her students rode and carried themselves so I started riding at Glendon not long after meeting the Collins'. I found them extremely helpful, accommodating, but most importantly, amazing at coaching and teaching others to ride. Nancy has always strived for teaching one how to feel and work to have the horse WANT to do what you want them to do, instead of MAKING them do what you want to do. She will give you your fair share of time and will not hesitate to put in that extra little bit of time to make sure that you have learned what she's trying to teach you and end the lesson on a positive note.

4 years after I started riding at Glendon, they moved to a brand new facility at Woodbine and Queensville sideroad. The stable is light, clean and airy and the indoor and outdoor rings are huge! Clare and Nancy as the operators and owners spare no effort in ensuring that the horses are well cared for and that the barn is well maintained. This is one of the nicest places that I've ever rode at.

I highly recommend Glendon Stables as a place to ride. The facilities are excellent and the lessons are even better.

After my teenage daughter had a bad experience with a previous barn, she didn't want to continue with her passion of riding. While searching for another facility, I ensured that I did my due diligence this time around: I did a lot of research, visited quite a few riding facilities in the area, asked for referrals and most importantly had my daughter involved in the decision making process! Of all the facilities we visited, my daughter instantly fell in love with Glendon Stables. When I asked her what made her choose Glendon Stables, she stated, "Mom I had a super cool connection with Nancy and Clare (coaches), plus the facility is modern, clean and you can tell that they really really treat their horses super well" (Her words not mine). I have to agree with her. My daughter has been riding consistently at Glendon Stables for a couple of years now. I've noticed how her skills and confidence have improved in leaps and bounds. Nancy is attentive to the students strengths and areas to develop as well as focuses on her students having the ultimate riding experience in a safe environment. We have since referred several students to Glendon Stables...well actually, my daughter has referred a few of her close friends to join the Glendon Family.
