Knowledgeable staff. Great help in the yard
This is the 'go to' place for lumber in the area. There's lots of stock and friendly, helpful staff. It's also a Home Hardware with lots of goodies for the home handyman.

Schell Lumber is a great store. Staff is very helpful and knowledge. Prices are lower than the Big Box competition. You wouldn't think so but it is true.
The perception that I had was it will likely cost me more money that the other big stores, which you know without me mentioning names.
I went into Schell Lumber to buy items out of convenience prepared to pay more.
Turns out they were cheaper than their competition.
I will always go to Schell Lumber.
Also, you are supporting a local independent merchant and not a big box store.
