I was in need and stayed there for a time many years ago when I was younger. I was going through what was probably the worst time in my life and without the staff there I probably wouldn’t be alive to write this review. I can’t thank them enough.

Jeff, Grant, Lindsay, Sue and a host of others are outstanding people.

I entered this shelter 5 years ago when I had nowhere else to go. They were absolutely amazing, even went as far as to finance art classes for me and help write my resume. I stayed in their transition program for about a year and they taught me tons of basic life skills such as cleaning properly, cooking and most importantly, budgeting. I am now working a full time job of 3 years and have my own bachelor apartment, I owe it all to them. If you come here, please be cooperative with the staff. Everything they do is for you, to make sure you leave there to lead a productive life. Thank you so much SYS!!!!
