Beautiful scenery , moderate workout , fall colours are spectacular
Great easy-moderate hiking trail that took around 1 hour at a moderate pace. Lots of nice trees, scenery and dogs!
great low impact hiking trails, multiple options. very popular on the weekends. great for dogs.
Great place to walk your dog and no charge for parking. Be aware, many dogs are off-leash even though it is not a designated area for it. My dog got some good socializing there and great exercise on the trails. If you want to challenge yourself, follow either path from the entrance to the clearing where the bottom of the big hill is and walk or run to the top. The view is a great reward and there are trails to explore. I took away one star only because I have to avoid it in the spring: irresponsible dog owners don't pick up after their dogs all winter and after the snow melts it is a disgusting mess of mud and poop.
If you are a hiker or out for a nature walk or photographer its great, other than the odd dog that may stray from their owners. Although marked as a leashed dog area, few people follow this and its popular to dog walkers. So it's great for dog people, not so for everyone else. But the marked nature trails make for a fairly easy follow and there are stretches where you can actually experience solitude!
