Stopped in today for fresh sunflowers, eggplant, peppers and lots of other fresh goodies. I think the small space is managed very well and the cash out is simple. Well done, I will be back again.
You can get Fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs and plants too. They have their own farm right next to the market and sell the produce they grow right at the market. We got some lunchbox Watermelon which is really small but supposed to be the sweetest. Was looking to get suger cube cantaloupes but they didn't have it today so just got the regular kind. The tomatoes are just sweet. The corn we had were super sweet and very big in size compared to the ones from supermarket. 5 star
My first time visiting this place.
A small, Nice, clean fresh produce farm marketplace offering good product, but don't expect low prices!
Mostly sold in bushels or other containers, making it hard to compare prices with stores! Woodbine/South of Stouffville
Loads of fresh vegetables!
Italian cucumbers, I've never heard of such a thing but, next time I will give it a try.
The corn is the sweetest I've ever had. So delicious and you don't even need butter or salt. I steam it a little water.
You can bushel basket with your own little garden of Swiss Chard or basil or pepper. That's an awesome idea. You buy the plant and it keeps giving.
I just visited them again today. They have a nice variety of fresh vegetables and fruit that are reasonably priced, but more importantly, since it's locally grown, it's tasty and fresh. We also got a nice plant for our front porch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also offer an assortment of pies and also cookies...the double chocolate cookies weren't so tasty, but the peanut butter ones were great.
