The technician arrived on time but was completely unwilling to answer any questions that I had as a homeowner. Simple questions like "you mentioned when you connected your tool that the refrigerant was low but now it's normal, what would cause that?" Or "how can I prevent frost from accumulating on the pipe leading to the furnace (because its summer and you typically don't see frost accumulation when there's heat)?" And to hear a response of "everything is fine" multiple times followed by "why do I have to repeat myself, everything is fine" is completely unacceptable when I'm being charged $99 for a 5 min visit. I have absolutely no issue with the money but I have a problem with a technician whose job is to deal with homeowners showing such a lack of respect and tact. I'm not asking for my hand to be held or to chat over a cup of coffee so we can thoroughly discuss the inner workings of an air conditioning condenser. I'm asking him to do what I am paying him to do. The only time in our entire interaction that he was pleasant was when I was paying him. At the end of it, I gather I was paying him to just leave my property.
Update:
After providing my feedback to Aire One on the day of the visit, I was contacted twice during the week by two members of their management team in an effort to rectify the issue. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to straighten everything out. My AC is functioning as it should. While my initial experience was definitely not positive, the experiences that followed have proven that they stand by their service. As a result, I have updated their rating and because of their diligence will most likely use their services again.
This is a quality firm with excellent technicians. We were fortunate to have Dave and Kyle installing our new furnace and AC unit, and what an excellent job they did. Friendly, they answered my questions, explained what they were doing, tested everything when they were done, and walked through the features of the new system with me. They covered the floors with cloths to keep everything clean and they removed the old furnace, AC unit and all the bits and pieces of wire and tubing. I found the pricing to be competitive as well, so I recommend this firm very highly.
Incredible service, our furnace stopped working during this pandemic, AireOne responded quickly and Yan, the technician arrived on time as well, with full peotective equipment plus social distancing which made my family felt safe during this time.
He diagnosed quickly and found my furnace needed a part that is out of stock and only avaliable out of town, he gave us a time and promised he will be back within couple hours, and HE DID IT! After reparing our furnace he ensured our system is running fine and gave us suggestions to improve our system as well.
