Dixon-Garland was the most accommodating and the most approachable of all the funeral homes I talked to in Markham. On the day of the funeral, the staff were patient with my demanding Chinese relatives. Patience doesn't even describe their professionalism. They are the nicest people EVER and very calm. They are easy to work with, very responsive, and they are magnificent. This was not the day I want to deal with drama.

I thought a funeral is just a funeral but after seeing what they did, it was honestly a perfect ending. It's thanks to Dixon-Garland (and St. Patrick Parish) that life became sweet. Besides, a funeral isn't for my mother as everyone would like to think. It's for my dad. Also selfishly the funeral was for me. We are the people who continue to live on and carry something called "memories."
