Drop The Leash! Dog Training

My dog and I attended the Games that Train classes with the instructor, Jesse. These lessons were great for my pup because I wanted to continue working on his obedience training as well as introduce him to agility. In this course, my dog had the chance to practice loose leash walking, redirecting attention to me when there are distractions, release cues, emergency recall, and jumps. I was so surprised when my dog noticed something in the bush but successfully recalled to me! I think my dog really benefitted from these classes. Of course, you must practice on your own time too.

Lastly, I appreciated the small number of students so the instructor Jesse could really spend time with each fur student. Sometimes my dog would ignore me until Jesse comes along...and my dog suddenly listens... haha!

We previously did the Games that Train class with our Aussie/Border Collie cross and it was really great after trying a class or two elsewhere! She was more advanced than the class so knew some of the tasks already but we were working on her reactivity around other dogs. Jesse is a great teacher and provides lots of support on your training journey :) We even went on and did Agility 1 with them.

We did the puppy class with Laura and Games that Train with Jesse. Both were fantastic! I loved how both Laura and Jesse helped us understand our dog’s emotions and behaviour, guide him into good behaviours through games and remain humane and positive in our approach. Our dog is not just responsive to our guidance — he’s the happiest guy ever.

Absolutely loved these sessions with my dog Rebel in late Spring. Jesse makes it so much fun as well as immensely practical...we picked up so many useful training tools and tips. Highly recommend it!!
