I found Jean-Pierre Ung to be very knowledgeable and very helpful. I remember our first meeting as he made me feel very comfortable as the reason for seeking him out in the first place was regarding my divorce. He gave me very insightful information and proceeded to be quick in communicating next steps for me and his willingness to be proactive with my case. Unfortunately, my case is a special international case and Jean-Pierre decided it would be best that I seek the assistance of someone who has more practice with international jurisdiction then himself. I was disappointed that I wasn't going to be working with him anymore, but, I highly respect his humble and honest truth. He suggested some really great lawyers, one of which is currently handling my case and I am very pleased with her services. I would recommend Jean-Pierre in the future and may deal with him again regarding some minor paper work as compared to others, his rates are reasonable.

Prior to choose JP to represent me in my divorce case, I had done a lots of researches on the internet, I also interviewed 3 other lawyers before I met JP, even one of them is top ranked lawyer and charged me $500 per hour for consultation. When I met JP the first time, I knew he is the one because he was the only one did the homework and read through all 7 pages background of the case which I call it “Journey” before the meeting, hence he remembered all the little details from the journey which surprised me big time.  Unlike the other lawyers who will only tell you “I will do my best to help you”, instead he helped me on every step of the say. He understood that my case is very complicated with multiple assets as well as the custody issues involved. JP coached me to understand my rights and obligations, family law, court process as well some useful websites to learn the knowledge for legal knowledges, and most important is how shall I do to protect my daughter and myself.
 
Every single suggestion JP provided is fully considered the best benefit to me and my daughter which was truly appreciated!  You can feel that he is available to you at anytime, even he was on vacation or off sick home. I have thrown tons of questions to him, not even single question got missed, he replied email or calls usually within 30-60 minutes. I also have to mention Maria, his assistant, did fantastic job in preparing all the paperwork and research in a very efficient way.
 
To me and my daughter, JP is not only a lawyer who represent my case but also a friend who knows what I need and what I deserve to have in the case.  For sure lawyer fee is not cheap but you will know what you paid for.  Every single penny you paid in your case will be paid back in your future life, you won’t feel any regrets for choosing him as your lawyer.

JP helped me with my separation matter. It was a very complicated case with three lawyers involved. He demonstrated incredible integrity and honesty and did everything he could to keep my legal fees down. However, when it came down to it, JP was not afraid to go to court if there were no other available options. We attended at a motion where the judge granted us everything we were looking for and dismissed all the claims of the other lawyers. We were would have been granted massive costs, had we not settled.
