Markham Stouffville Hospital Emergency Room

Came in to the ER last night and Dr. Paul Jacobson was so friendly! Everyone working last night was very nice. The whole experience compared to other hospitals was so different. Everyone was friendly and genuinely seemed to care if you were okay. Shout out to Carrie for being extra gentle with the blood test! Thank you to everyone working last night!

Safe and quiet. Widescreen display showing total remaining or estimated wait and processing time.
Vending machines for soft drinks and snacks. Comfortable Seating. The much appreciated local police presence further ensures security and piece of mind. Tim hortons 24 hour and druxys deli. Nice well stocked gift shop for ANY occasion here.

Collaboration with caregivers and parents of children is enriched and focused. Emergent care is world class and comfortable within the considerations for special needs and advanced incidences of health concern. Long term care is considerate and supportive. MS hospital is very memorable.

I was treated at the ER quite promptly. They could see I was in a lot of pain and made a solid effort to attend to me as soon as they could. Took time to listen to my concerns and explained my preliminary diagnosis, prescriptions and next steps clearly. I was in and out of the ER in 2hours.
