I would give Dr.Virro ten out of five stars! My husband and I are forever thankful for switching to Dr.Virro’s care after being at another clinic previously. We had already been trying to conceive for years, had gone through IVF twice and also experienced a few losses. I was not happy in the care of my previous RE who failed to have any idea on what could be causing our recurrent losses. Dr.Virro helped us find the cause of my problems and was able to offer appropriate treatments. He is a fantastic Doctor who is to the point and he doesn’t miss a beat. The testing and treatment is a huge investment and it is an emotionally difficult process to go through but if you’re going through it I would highly recommend you go straight to him. His level of care is absolutely worth the few months wait to see him initially.
He also referred me to a high risk pregnancy clinic, given my history and some challenges that we faced during the first trimester of my pregnancy and for that I am also very grateful!

When I initially chose this Clinic it was because I thought I may have had a uterine septum and I know that they specialize in uterine anomalies. Turns out I do not have one thanks to their help. They verify this for me. Mine is only arcuate.

I found out that I had some random chromosome problem called the balanced translocation so I had to do IVF for the pre genetic screening testing. It was a huge shock for me.

When you have a balanced translocation the odds are not in your favor to get normal embryos. No matter how healthy you are or how well your reproductive system is.

Virro I feel happy on the perfect protocol and although there was nothing that he could have done to make the embryos normal because I was up to the universe, I was able to get three out of six and I truly believe that it is because he didn't overstimulate me and Fry my eggs.

I believe that he truly knew what he was doing with me.

Virro is so blunt and to the point which originally made me question if he was paying attention or was too busy. Like some people complain. I came to reason he KNOWS HIS STUFF. It may be tough for him to remember after all of these years patients are terrified and have a TON of questions...but he gets to the point because he knows what he is talking about.

The clinic is very busy and high-volume so it is easy for them and many other IVF clinics from what I've heard to not be 100% on top of things. It can be very frustrating because IVF can be one of the worst things that you will ever go through. Some days when I would call the book an ultrasound if they didn't know what I meant I would just break down and cry. It was truly unbearable. My only complaint is that I think that's not only this clinic but all clinics need to remember the customer service aspect.

It can be said about any business that the staff get used to seeing upsetting things or emotional things day in and day out and to them normal. But we need to remind ourselves it is not.

I got pregnant on my first transfer with a 5-day Frozen pgs tested embryo.

With Dr. Michael Virro our first attempt brought us a little (huge) happiness-our baby girl. God bless Dr. VIRRO he is absolutely amazing and professional doctor! Very reccomend to all who dreams about a baby!
