Nice large fuel station with, car wash, large selection snacks, cold drinks and hot coffee for sale in a clean and tidy store layout plus the staff are polite friendly.

However, why are fuel station companies that supposedly compete for my business all have the same price per litre of fuel in the same general area or city? Why doesn’t fuel ever go on sale like every other retail business the world over?

To me that =Collusion......is a secret cooperation or deceitful agreement in order to deceive others, although not necessarily illegal, as is a conspiracy. A secret agreement between two or more parties to limit open competition by deceiving, misleading, or defrauding others of their legal rights, or to obtain an objective forbidden by law typically by defrauding or gaining an unfair market advantage is an example of collusion. It is an agreement among firms or individuals to divide a market, set prices, limit production or limit opportunities.

I am a Petro Points member so I am a loyal and repeat customer because I do value and appreciate the rewards one receives when you gas up on a regular basis. The line ups can get a little crazy at times when gas prices drop, but besides that - zero complaints.
