Pure Self Salon N Spa

I’ve had many bad experiences with previous salons but the service here is absolutely amazing. The staff are friendly and give you exactly what you ask for, and the products are great too. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This review is overdue. I almost never get my hair done, and in the past I've always chanced it based on online reviews. I've always left feeling "meh" or disappointment. So to be beyond happy with how my hair came out is an understatement.

The salon was clean and inviting. All the staff I interacted with were friendly. I walked in just to see if someone could give me a consultation. I was greeted by Allison (who not only did my hair, but my mother's hair as well). We spoke about my options, and I booked with her for a couple of weeks later.

She is talented and professional. She listened to my concerns and actually respected my wish to keep my hair long. I find when I go somewhere, stylists like to just trim my hair shorter than I ask because they think they're doing me the favor of removing my dead ends, but it just makes me annoyed they didn't listen.

For my mom, she gave her a beautifully done pixie cut and highlights.

Piece of advice: Allison books up, so if you want your choice of time, be sure to book ahead!

I started going here last year because their hair treatment is so good. My first haircut was good albeit a bit shorter than what I requested but the service made up for it. I waited a few months before going back for a haircut and highlights and requested for a different hairstylist. I am so so happy I did.
Allison is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I was really impressed at how professional and friendly she is, she listened to what I have to say and took the time to understand what I am aiming for and was very honest with what she can do for my hair that is closest to the style I want. She showed me pictures of her recommendation and didn't settle until we were both happy with the style and colour choices. I have been to many different salons before with varying price point and I can honestly say you get what you pay for at this location. The level of service from everybody is outstanding, everyone is friendly, it's not intimidating. Thank you Pure Self team for a lovely relaxing afternoon! Thank you Allison for a job well done!

I went here at the recommendation of a friend and was definitely not disappointed. I've had so many bad haircuts in my life so I'm always hesitant to try to new places and hadn't cut my hair in over a year. Talata fantastic job on my hair, she was very thorough at making sure everything was even and so nice to talk to. She gave me recommendations for products and styling tips (since I don't know how to style my hair whatsoever). I love how welcoming and comfortable the place is, their stylists definitely know what they're doing. I'm so happy with my hair and their service. Definitely recommend!!

I have been getting my haircut as well as eyebrow threading done at Pure Self since they opened. Englika and her whole team are very professional. I also got my hair and makeup done for a party recently and the result was fantastic. Love this place. Would highly recommend them.
