I was recommended Maria’s services by a friend and I’m so glad that I listened! Maria is patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond for her clients.
I recently took Maria's prenatal breastfeeding class over zoom. I am pregnant with my second child and breastfeeding did not work out well my first time around. I felt over whelmed and like I was "under performing" (I have never felt this way before in anything I have taken on) I got assistance the best I could however live in Northern Ontario and would have to travel an hour to meet professionals in person.
While going through Maria's class I got a ton more information that I didn't have the first time. I started to realize where I went wrong and what I can do differently this time. It was completely supportive and non-judgmental and gave me concrete valid information.
I cannot say enough great things about Maria and the information she shared with me. I feel better prepared and wish I had done this before my first child.
Breastfeeding can be very hard for some women (I was one of them), it also comes very natural to others... and good for them but we are all very different. Every birth is different, every mother is different and every baby is different... not to mention our different levels of support with friends and family. I truely feel that getting the information ahead of time really does help troubleshoot when its 3am, your by yourself and your on the verge of tears trying to do what's best for your baby.
Thank you Maria! I think I will do way better this time.
I took a 3hr class on introducing solids taught by Maria and Laura Patterson. Prior to taking the course I read some material online about introducing solids but couldn't find very comprehensive information. This course covered it all! They answered all the questions I had plus so much more. I feel very confident coming out of the course, and can't wait until the little one gets a bit older so I can practice what I learned! Also, this course is very inclusive for both breastfeeding and formula-feeding parents.
I had great difficulty breastfeeding my newborn son. He was losing weight and no health care professional in my area knew why. I was facing having to give up breastfeeding and exclusively use formula. Maria met with me through FaceTime and identified our problem, she was thoughtful kind, supportive, and very knowledgeable. With her help I was able to continue breastfeeding my son. So grateful to Maria for saving our breastfeeding journey.
Maria has extensive experience helping parents overcome their breastfeeding difficulties, helping many families who have struggled with sore nipples and low supply among other issues. Her calm, confident manner, quickly puts her families at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking answers to their breastfeeding questions.
