Had a great time in the course. I had two different instructors for each day, Mitch and Arik. Both were fun and engaging. Most importantly, I felt extremely prepared for the exam. I did the CPR level HCP (Health Care Practitioner). The room was clean, comfortable, and there was plenty of time for lunch. We shared stories, had lots of time to ask questions, and practice the skills. I would definitely recommend getting your training at York CPR.

PLEASE NOTE YORK CPR HAS MOVED! WE ARE NOW TEACHING OUT OF PROMENADE SHOPPING CENTRE IN THORNHILL. THE BUR OAK LOCATION NO LONGER HOLDS CLASSES.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly. The training room was also very roomy and neat which made it easier and comfortable to focus. Plus, the location is convenient (Promenade Mall) and during breaks/lunch break people can definitely just hang out in the food court or walk around the mall downstairs to make time fly... I would highly recommend YORK CPR and would definitely come back for my next required CPR training.

I recently completed a First Aid and CPR course with York CPR. It was fast-paced, informative, and fun, and I left the course feeling capable of helping in an emergency. Our instructor Arik was charismatic and professional. I would recommend York CPR for anyone in the area who wants to be certified!

Great experience, lovely instructor Matthew Wong. Matthew was informative, kind, knowledgeable, positive and inspiring, everything that a good teacher should be. Do I feel ready to help? Yes, I think I do. I would of course be nervous but I think my course and the scenarios we carried out would really allow me to make a difference. I asked questions and felt happy that everything was answered and explained.
We had a superb class too (that always helps), nice people came together to learn on a snowy Sat and Sunday in November (2013). My best regards to the lovely fellow class members who were fun, bubbly, ready to learn and made taking a first aid course on a weekend a very worthwhile and fun experience.
The York CPR Centre is just steps away from Cornell Community Centre, which is a great location for me as a Markham resident.
Mitch who co-ordinated the class bookings was lovely and I got replies to emails almost immediately.
I would highly recommend the course and I will be back to refresh when I think my first aid knowledge is lacking, which may actually be before the 3 years expiry period is up.
