(August 22, 2019, 2:58 am)The charging light came on in my truck, but I wasn't really sure if I needed a new alternator or not, as I noticed that one of the batteries was physically damaged. I decided to take it K&P. They came out in the parking lot and diagnosed it right there. I needed both the battery and the alternator. We noticed that the wiring to the alternator was missing insulation and the connectors weren't oriented in the correct direction. They fixed all or that, and it looks completely factory now. You could go to an auto parts store and work with whatever you got, right or wrong, or go here and get the job done as it is supposed to be done.
