Had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish with PROtique (KRS insurance). They were very prompt in their communications and professional as well. Chris answered any questions I had and I was able to get a very reasonable rate right from the beginning. My policy was able to be opened and completed all electronicly which is a huge help to me. Very happy with the service so far and looking forward to working with Chris and PROtique more.

I have been insured by ProFur since 2013 when I opened my first salon in Thunder Bay. I have dealt extensively with Jennifer and Chris both, and have never had a moment of concern. In the five years of insurance with ProFur I have made two claims - the first a few years ago when my entire tackbox full of equipment was stolen at a trade show. The claim was paid out quickly and I was able to replace my equipment within a week. Jennifer was fantastic about helping me work through the process with the adjuster from Intact.

Most recently (Friday April 6, 2018) a contractor working in the rental unit next to my salon put a screw through a pipe causing a HUGE amount of damage to my leasehold improvements, and to my equipment. Jennifer quickly responded confirming my coverage, getting me set up with an Intact adjuster, and checking policy wording to ensure that I was covered for the recovery of data on my server that was damaged. While the process is ongoing I have had regular check ins with KRS to ensure that things are progressing well.

I simply cannot say this enough - there is no other insurance company in Canada that can offer the industry specific coverage that ProFur and KRS offer through their group plan with Intact Insurance. I have shopped around, and it cannot be beat. They cover my business equipment and chattels, professional liability, property liability, and the dogs in my care all under one policy. This is unparalleled in the industry. Further to this as an industry educator and advocate for regulation in the pet grooming industry I have found ProFur extremely willing to help with events, provide information for me to use during seminars, and ready and willing to help new groomers understand their coverage.
