Our issue was food was not hot, it was barely warm and very bland and we were 6 ppl and we all ordered same flavor mussels to make it easy on cooks so no excuses. I completely understand there are new guidelines and restrictions due to covid, there were only a few tables of customers there should have been no excuse for that or the very slow service. We had asked for salt 2 times to season ourselves but it never came. We want to support our local restaurants but we want to enjoy ourselves at same time. We were not charged for part of our meal and we were thankful but not satisfied with the experience but that could have been averted since it wasnt busy at all. I do want to give it another chance in couple months when they get more opportunity to get used to the new normal. Place is very very pretty and it would a nice place to frequent.
service is clean, safe and efficient. They have proper covid safety measures in place. All staff are wearing masks and sanitizers are left at each table. When entering and exiting the dining room area you are asked to sanitize your hands again. The highlight was Alexis our server. Really professional and made us right at home. Thank you for the wonderful time! We really appreciate it.
Came in with a group of five and sampled almost every tapas on the menu. Every dish was incredible! The grilled calamari was the best I've ever tasted. Super cozy atmosphere with a knowledgeable and friendly waitress. The live music was excellent and at the perfect loudness, we could enjoy the music and still talk to each other. Highly recommend.
This is definitely a hidden gem in Newmarket. A very tiny and quaint bistro, hide behind a big house - very easy to miss it. Definitely can give you the same feeling as those small bistro in Spain, very cozy. Service was good, and food was authentic homemade style. Love the Sangria, especially they used a little clay pot to hold it. Moreover, the musician was extremely nice and friendly, altho he is in age 72, but he is still energetic. Definitely, will go back to this place again.
Lobo Iberico Restaurant has the feel of Spain nestled in the town of Newmarket. The crew is friendly, from Bianca and Trish serving to your needs, to Foster and Garreth making culinary delights for anyone wishing to visit! Tapas and Wine tastings, date nights, family events and all the rest. Call and book yourself a little piece of heaven and enjoy your evening with friends or a loved one.
Personally I myself fell for the place once I went in and raved to friends how nice it would be for us parents and married couples who haven't had a day to ourselves since we began our journeys together.
Love the atmosphere and love the reception. Can't wait to visit again
