My husband and I bought our first home a few months earlier. Max Shokouhi was our real estate agent. Our experience for buying first home with Max was extremely pleasant. We had been in touch with him since very early phase of the decision making and he had guided us through initial market research and understanding mortgage requirements. As first time buyers, we had a lot of questions, and Max answered them with patience and accuracy. Most importantly, he introduced us to multiple tools that we were not aware of, which also fitted our specific needs.

Max also understood our budget, constraints, and requirements, therefore successfully tailored proper search criteria in Collab so that all suitable houses in the market fell under our radar. His approach was very transparent, organized, and holistic. I never felt rushed and my requirements were never ignored.

Also, as a working couple, my husband and I had time constraints in terms of viewing. Max always set up the appointments in efficient pattern so that no time is wasted between getting to the appointments. He also gave us pointers so that we know what to look for to avoid potential issues (electrical, structural, etc.) in the home.

After we found the perfect match (after numerous viewing), Max did not let go of our inexperienced hands. He set up both the house inspection and lawyer, and we had positive experiences with all his recommended service.

He provided us access to Collab, which is amazing front end representation of MLS. We were able to track available properties and build an opinion on areas and prices with the help of that tool. Max was very transparent and gave us true advices during the whole time.

After analyzing the market for the next few months, the wife and I decided to take the leap of faith and get into the band wagon of home ownership. We had very particular requirements and a non-flexible budget. Max went through all those requirements and started to provide us with custom list of houses along with Collab and MLS listing pointers. He was in constant communication with us during this time. We ended up viewing more than 30 properties in person, and Max did an amazing job of scheduling all the viewings while accommodating our work schedules ! We were provided comparative market analysis for any house which we showed interest on (more that 50+) and we were provided genuine advice on the pricing for each of them. It was hectic on Max, but he did it with a smile and at the end he was able to get us the house we wanted!

On top of all of these detailed work, Max also provided us with references for Mortgage Agents , Real Estate Lawyer, Home Inspector and an amazing furniture store. The whole experience was truly amazing and it squished our fear of buying a house. At the end , Max provided us with an end to end home buying experience and made it a fun experience rather than a daunting one.
