The Pickle Barrel

Great experience on the patio. Good service and taste was good as always. I wish the patio had some more sun shaded area though, but I guess you can't expect to have everything in a restaurant. Good amount of parking, and good location. Very large menue selecting and lots of food choices and variety.

Cheap apps but they are pretty salty, decent service. Server corrected an error quickly AND comped it from our bill which was super nice of her. Bellini was good but couldn't taste any alcohol and had no fizz. Patio was okay but I think the umbrellas weren't big enough because majority of the tables were full hot sun and it took a long time to get water. Overall just okay, it's a chain..

I rarely give 5 Stars, however The Pickle Barrel is an excellent restaurant. Fast friendly wait staff and the food is awesome as always. Being from Montreal originally, I do enjoy a good lean smoked meat sandwich and poutine every now and then, although not quite the same as what you'd get in Quebec, this is absolutely the next best thing. My daughter took me here for father's day, we enjoyed the meal, we ate outside in the patio area, the weather was perfect. A great meal, awesome dessert and time spent with my daughter which was priceless.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Pickle Barrel to family and friends.

The place overall was clean and tidy. The washrooms are better than others. However the waiting time for the food was more than expected. Also, the server did not ask us how was the food. I ordered a classic burger. The meat was not flavourful. The chicken was also not very good. The price is way to high for mediocre at best food. I suggest a place like East side Mario's if you would like a good, well known food place.

They have a large menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server was very nice. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The bathroom was very clean, which was nice to see! It was easy to park.
