My family has been getting help from Dr. Tali for many years. It started with my daughter getting a career assessment over 15 years ago. The assessment really helped her to choose the right program and career. Lately, my grandchildren had gifted assessments and counselling at Dr. Tali's center. Regular sessions with Dr. Anat Elbaum have been a complete game-changer for me. The practical benefits that I’ve been seeing in my life as a direct result of working with her will carry with me wherever I may go. I now have tools and insight that I probably wouldn't have come across if not for Anat’s natural ability to create a warm and safe space combined with her professional expertise of twenty years in the field of psychology. Not knowing what to expect from the process, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself instantly comfortable during sessions and at ease in the atmosphere of her workplace in general. Even Anat's reception staff is warm and accommodating!
Anat's method is one of a kind. She has lead me to greater perspective, authenticity and understanding, resulting in improved relationships with myself and with those nearest and dearest to me. Having developed a trusting rapport, we are able to touch on sensitive matters, and the concrete benefits are numerous. For this, I cannot thank her enough. I can honestly say that I find Anat to be one of, if not the most intelligent person I have met, and this combined with her ability to embody all the traits of an effective therapist make her my number one recommendation in the field.

We decided to see a child psychologist when my younger son started having serious problems at school. After a few months of therapy, I see many positive changes, he is much calmer, a lot less impulsive and interacts with others much better.

Having to watch our child suffer from separation anxiety was one of the worst experiences for us as parents. After close friends encouraged us to speak with our doctor we did. Our paediatrician Dr. Greenberg referred us to Dr. Tali Shenfield at Richmond Hill Psychology Center and we took our son there for an initial psychological assessment. Dr. Shenfield was very personable and made our family feel very comfortable right away. She assessed the situation and suggested a few options for treatment, with play therapy being her first choice. We agreed that play therapy would be best for our son. Play therapy was very effective indeed! He loved drawing, playing games and having an adult "play-mate". We learned a lot ourselves too. Things like how to choose games, how to spend quality time with our son and how to use games to diffuse stressful situations. Our son was engaged in the sessions and learned about his feelings, how to better express himself and how to cope. Today, 4 months later, he is a different child. So much happier and more relaxed. This was worth every penny and time spent. We are really grateful to Dr. Greenberg and Dr. Shenfield for helping our son.
