York Wines has been a wonderful experience. I am now on my 7th batch of fantastic wine varietals. The operator, Edwin, always gives full attention to quality and service. Highly recommended business.

Edwin is a great owner, a fantastic jovial personality. He's invested a lot of time and money into upgrading the operation, without raising prices at all since taking over the business from Andy a few years ago. Beer here is excellent, all grain no preservatives. White wine is decent too. Brand new automatic bottle washer. High tech microbrewery industrial grade beer bottle filler. You won't find other u-brew places with facilities like this. You won't find another dude like Edwin either!

I am their customer for years, I bought beer and wine and I have to say that the quality is always great and Edwin, the owner of the store, provides just amazing service. Try the IPA beer, it is so good and taste is amazing. About a year ago I started getting wine, the Amarone is a really nice one but we keep trying different ones and always happy with the results. Ask Edwin any question and he will help you to find something you like. Highly recommended.

I'm an east european and I don't really like beer , I'm more into wine or moonshine . I went at this place with my wife Saturday evening for first time and I bought wine and i was thinking , let's get few beers. Went home while eating , I was thinking , let's try the beer. It was the best beer I ever tried in my entire life. The owner was very friendly and very nice as a person. Bye LCBO, I will never come back to you with your crazy prices.
I want to thank the owner for explaining to me how it works and also doing it yourself , while he was about to close the store, he took his time and didn't rush.

Forget the LCBO! Edwin is an experienced brewmaster and shares his wine, beer and cider making expertise with you! At the end you have a delicious wine product at the fraction of a cost for under one hour of your time! Highly recommended!
