Banh mi are great - but they're not ready until 10:30AM which is a full hour and a half after they open (management should probably make that clear).

Food is ok, not 100% authentic, but we arent in Vietnam anymore. This store has the best banh mi in Toronto I believe. It's pretty cheap, too.

If you’re craving a Banh Mi in York Region, this is the place to go! For $4 you’ll enjoy a delicious sandwich packed with flavour. They also carry a large variety of ready made foods. Warning: the chillies are extremely spicy. Don’t expect to engage in a friendly conversation with the ladies, but you can expect the service to be quick and efficient.

Go in the store. Order your sandwich, pay and leave. For everyone complaining about customer service, get bent. Don't expect to be treated like royalty here or anywhere for that matter. You want banh mi, viet desserts and other fun food items fine. Come in and buy your food and enjoy. Dont have the attitude of, oh customer service should be priority. These people in here work hard all day long. The food is delicious. If you want to be pampered, go to the spa.

With that being said, I love the che ba mau. I normally get the assorted banh mi spicy. Be adventurous and grab other items from the counter or fridge area. Everything is so inexpensive it really is worth a try.
